Face the 🤦 with Pumpkin
My team was tasked with writing and designing a set of new assets to use in veterinary clinics across the U.S. With my partner and graphic designer Ashley Turcheck, we created the “Face the Facepalm” campaign. The idea for ‘Face the 🤦♀️’ came from the universal truth that as a pet parent, sometimes you don’t have the words to describe how you feel about your pet’s weird and wonderful antics.
🤦♀️ is accepting your new slippers won’t survive the week.
🤦♀️ is laughing when the litter box is taken as a suggestion rather than the rule.
🤦♀️ is reaching for the mop when your sandwich disappears, then reappears.
Pet parents love their pets through all the 🤦♀️ moments, but it doesn’t mean that facing the emotional and financial fallout of an unexpected accident or illness isn’t really hard. When a 🤦♀️ moment means a trip to the vet, every pet parent should be empowered to act without hesitation and say ‘yes’ to the veterinary care that their care team recommends.
